Properties:
Sunshield Wood Oils fortified with U.V. absorbers to protect the wood from harmful bleaching effects of ultra-violet rays from sunlight. Is flexible to allow for expansion and contraction of wood through climatic changes which resists the cracking, peeling, and blistering of the wood surface. Wood Oil has water repellant properties and has excellent adhesion to pressure treated and untreated woods, but is still capable of being cleaned with water. Dries to a rich semi-transparent matte finish and is available in colours.

Application:
All woods must be clean of any foreign material, and must be stained on all sides, twice in the same season. All decks must be a minimum of 1" above ground, and be well ventilated underneath between ground and deck proper. Do no apply in temperatures below 5 degrees Celsius. Stir well before and constantly while applying (approximately every 15 minutes) can be applied over damp surfaces. Previously coated woods should be sanded or stripped before applying Wood Oil. Applying with brush or roller in 2 coats, should be allowed to dry for 24 hours between coats. Allow second coat to dry 24 hours before use. A mill glaze remover should be used on new wood, (Keep from freezing).
Coverage:
3.785 liters / 1 U.S. gallon will cover approximately 35 sq. meters (380 sq ft.) on rough sawn wood and approximately 48 sq. metres (520 sq. ft.) on smooth woods.
Maintenance:
To maintain original beauty and appearance, rince / brush off surface dust and dirt and apply fresh coat of Sunshield Wood Oil after a period of 2-3 years following the instructions above.
Warranty:
The manufacture guarantees Sunshield Wood Oil to be free of defective materials and produced in accordance with the highest industry standards and practices. The sole obligation under this warranty is to replace to the immediate customer any Wood Oil proven defective within 2 years of purchase, on presentation of the original bill of sail at time of claim. Manufacturer is not liable for any labour or other expenses or damages of any kind in conjunction with replacement. Warranty does not apply when used in a commercial application without prior written authorization from Manufacturer. This warranty is in lieu of all others, expressed or implied and may be extended by our representatives.
